Controlling and managing the vital information that drives organizations can be cumbersome and costly—especially for those companies required to adhere to industry standards and regulations. Fortunately, Quality Systems Integrators (QSI) offers niche software solutions to its customers, most of whom are in the pharmaceutical industry. With a focus on regulated business, QSI automates the entire quality management process through their suite of TMSWeb Quality Compliance Management products, which includes Training & Document Management, Quizzing & Certification, and Customizable Forms & Workflows.
Over thirty years ago—before ISO standards were published—QSI began developing software solutions for quality managers. As their family-operated business grew, so did the global adoption of the ISO standards and eventually the introduction of FDA 21 CFR Part 11. QSI decided to focus on developing a web-based solution for highly regulated industries supporting the shift from paper-based to electronic systems.
While many companies have limited budgets, they are still required to comply with the same regulations as large pharmaceutical companies. QSI offers a cost effective selection of products for managing documents, training records, CAPA, deviations and many other regulatory processes. TMSWeb provides the framework for keeping this information organized and accessible—which many important business decisions are based on. The result is the acceleration and flow of information while gathering input and approval from key individuals such as employees, customers, and suppliers.
As a full-service, boutique-style company, QSI offers tailored solutions and support services.
Our clients are all unique and all have different requirements. Our products help solve their individual challenges and our personalized customer support helps ease the deployment and transition into an electronic environment
“Our clients are all unique and all have different requirements. Our products help solve their individual challenges and our personalized customer support helps ease the deployment and transition into an electronic environment.” said Marti Turocy, QSI Director of Operations.
For instance, after implementing TMSWeb, Xytex Cryo International noted improved turnaround time for documentation, saving the company time and allowing employees to focus on more important aspects of their jobs. Another satisfied customer is the National IR-4 Project which implemented the TMSWeb System and Forms Module to create audits, manage workflows, and provide feedback. IR-4’s Quality Assurance Department reported a tremendous reduction in administrative work along with faster response times. QSI provided training and support for all aspects of implementation rollout.
QSI brings a unique value proposition to the enterprise software landscape servicing the pharmaceutical industry. “Training Management is an important requirement for companies in regulated environments. One of the main ways TMSWeb software helps is by delivering training content, managing training records, determining training gaps and issuing quizzes to verify employee comprehension,” Turocy said. “This greatly reduces effort when preparing for FDA and client audits.”
QSI’s mission is to develop products that improve efficiencies, reduce the cost of quality, and swiftly maximize return on investment. As they look toward the future, QSI’s vision is to anticipate technology and industry trends in order to prepare companies for what lies ahead.
